Contract researcher (MSc)
Javier Torrente works since 2008 as a contract researcher for the e-UCM research group. His research is framed in the serious games area, with special focus on the eAdventure (http://e-adventure.e-ucm.es/) project. During the last years, he’s specialized in areas related to Human-Computer Interaction, especially in the development of new game interfaces for people with disabilities, which is his PhD topic. He’s also have experience in designing, planning, conducting and analyzing complex experiments. Besides, Javier has deep expertise in coordinating cooperative R&D projects. Since 2010 he also collaborates as an external consultant for the Mass General Hospital for the MasterMed project. Among the most relevant results of his research we find more than 60 research papers in top journals and conferences in the field.
