Assistant Professor

Javier Bravo Agapito Javier Bravo-Agapito has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). He had a Ph.D. grant (FPI) from the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science (2005-2009). He performed a research stay in Telecom Bretagne (Brest, France) with the team of Prof. Garlatti, and in the University of Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, PA, USA) with PAWS group, headed by Prof. Brusilovsky. He has been Assistant Professor (2009-2011) and Associate Professor (2011-2021) in the Computer Science School at the Madrid Open University (UDIMA). Since 2021 he is Assistant Professor (PAD) at the Department of Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). Currently, he is a member of the e-UCM group in the UCM. He is interested in Data Analysis of e-Learning Systems and other systems, online Learning, Serious Games, and Generative AI for Education.
