Cristina Alonso Fernández is Associate Professor in the Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Department of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). In 2021, she completed the PhD in Computer Science by the UCM. She earned the degress of Computer Science and Mathematics at UCM in 2016. A year later, she completed a Master in Data Mining and Business Intelligence, also at UCM.

She is parte of the eUCM research group since September 2016. She has participated in several research projects, and was a researcher in the H2020 BEACONING Project.

Her research interests include the analysis of serious games and the application of learning analytics for their improvement.
