Presentation at Conference on Best Practices in Educational Innovation

The director of the e-UCM research group, Baltasar Fernández Manjón, has participated in the Conference on Best Practices in Educational Innovation in Madrid 2025:

Very pleased with the presentation, together with Carlos Tribaldo, of our educational games and their use at CES Carpe Diem (Fuenlabrada) at the Conference on Good Practices in Educational Innovation in Madrid 2025, organized by PERE MARQUES and DIM-EDU, at the Faculty of Education of the National Distance Education University (UNED).

It is always a pleasure to present the positive results of using our games in real-world settings such as schools and to establish new partnerships with educators, who enable us to test, evaluate, and improve our serious games in order to solve relevant educational problems.

At https://bit.ly/juegose-ucm you can find a description of our games that address bullying and cyberbullying (Conectado game), issues of equality in education (La Entrevista game), problems of digital footprint and inappropriate sharing of information by young people (JustShare game), and improving learning and practice in programming and computational thinking (Articoding game).

We would like to thank IES Carpe Diem School and its principal, Carlos Tribaldo, once again for making this collaboration possible. We consider it a success story that we would like to replicate in other educational institutions.
